10 Year Limited Warranty

PT Roma Export (“Manufacturer”) warrants that its Destination Green™ products are manufactured from recycled teak wood and high-density polyethylene, and will not rot, split, splinter, or suffer structural damage from fungal decay or termites for a period of 10 years under normal use and conditions.

Intended Use

Destination Green™ is not structural lumber and must not be used as such. Purchaser is responsible for the application of the Destination Green™ product and for ensuring the application meets local building codes.

 

This Warranty Does Not Cover

• Improper installation or failure to follow Destination Green™ installation guidelines, including but not limited to spacing,
• Mold or mildew – Misuse, improper storage, handling, abuse, or neglect of the product by purchaser or transferee,
• Use of the product not in accordance with building and safety codes – Acts of nature (flooding, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, lightning, etc.),
• Slight colour change or fading, which is inherent to the material,
• Any shift, movement, distortion, or settling of the ground upon which the products are installed,
• Normal wear and tear,
• Surface stains (stains can occur; clean the surface with soap and a hard brush).

 

Claim Procedure

To make a claim under this limited warranty, the purchaser or transferee shall send a description of the claim, photographs, and proof of purchase to:

After reviewing the information, PT Roma Export will determine the validity of the claim. If the claim is valid, PT Roma Export will, at its sole option, either replace the affected item or refund a portion of the purchase price paid (excluding the cost of initial installation). Replacement material will be as close in colour and design to the original as possible; an exact match is not guaranteed, as colours and designs may change over time. Products must be installed in strict accordance with the installation instructions. If products are determined to rot, split, splinter, stain (after cleaning), check, or suffer structural damage from fungal decay or termites as a direct result of a manufacturing defect, PT Roma Export will provide replacement products for the defective items (excluding removal and disposal of the affected products).

 

Proration and Cost Coverage

Valid warranty claims are prorated as indicated below. Removal of affected product, disposal, and installation of replacement materials — including but not limited to labour and freight — are the purchaser’s responsibility at all times and are not covered under this warranty, except that PT Roma Export will cover these costs during the first two (2) years of the warranty period.
