Cladding & Fencing

Destination Green’s WPC cladding and fencing boards are a bio-composite cladding material made from recycled teak dust and recycled HDPE, combining the natural appearance of teak with the durability of a wood-plastic composite (WPC). Manufactured at our own factory in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, since 2010, our WPC cladding and fencing is designed for tropical outdoor conditions: it has very little water absorption, resists rot and insects, does not crack, and needs almost no maintenance once installed. The boards are made from 80% recycled content, of which 70% is organic teak dust, and are 100% recyclable. We supply WPC cladding and fencing for resorts, hotels, villas and residential projects across Indonesia and abroad.

Material & Performance

Our WPC cladding and fencing is extruded from a blend of recycled teak dust and A-grade recycled HDPE, pushed through a profile mold under high heat and pressure. This process gives the boards a higher density than natural timber, which is what gives our bio-composite cladding its low water absorption, added strength, and better color retention over time compared with solid wood. The material has been independently tested by SHR Testing Center in the Netherlands against natural teak, and outperformed it on water resistance, UV weathering, hardness and wear resistance. Every cladding and fencing order from Destination Green is backed by our 10-year limited warranty.

Made From Recycled Materials

The teak dust in our WPC cladding and fencing is sourced from local furniture manufacturers as a waste by-product they cannot use themselves, so no trees are cut to produce it. Combined with recycled A-grade HDPE, this gives our bio-composite cladding a high recycled content while keeping the warm, natural look of teak. We have been refining this bio-composite under our own brand, produced by PT Roma Export, for more than 15 years, with all mixing, extrusion and assembly done at our own factory in Yogyakarta. We believe this makes our bio-composite cladding a more environmentally responsible choice than solid wood for architects and specifiers, without giving up the tropical durability a project needs.

Cladding & Fencing Profiles

We extrude our WPC cladding and fencing boards in several profiles to suit different applications: a 200 x 18 mm profile for ceiling cladding, a 197 x 26 mm profile for wall cladding, a 140 x 15 mm flat wall cladding profile, a 140 x 30 mm fluted wall cladding profile, a 164 x 30 mm rhombus profile for angled feature cladding, and a 215 x 25 mm fence profile that pairs with a 60 x 60 mm chamfer profile for posts and framing. Boards are available in several colors so cladding and fencing can be matched to a project’s overall design. Because each profile is extruded rather than milled, boards can be produced to the lengths a project needs, reducing joints and offcuts on site.

Where Our Cladding & Fencing Has Been Used

Destination Green WPC cladding and fencing has been installed on projects across Indonesia, including wall and ceiling cladding at The Bank Perenenan, rhombus wall cladding on our own Mila Villa, fence cladding at the Pro Education School in Bali, cladding at Dervish Valley Resort in Ubud and at Jakarta International School Stadium, gate and fence projects for private residences in Yogyakarta, a rhombus-cladding factory gate in Tangerang, and a fence project at a resort in Bali.
